Hexa.
Hexa is a house with a hexagonal floor plan with side =3 meters and apothem =2,78 meters which gives an area of 25m2 as requested by the program.
The project is a symmetry with faces in a diagonal direction as seen in the images and that give it formality.
The exterior material is copper and that plate is made up of the Oculus, which is an opening and closing mechanism to allow the entry of outside light. An Oculus can be totally open or totally closed, in this project there are no intermediate positions, although there could be, we have thought about it but we have not done it because it would have been extremely complex.
The Oculus quantity is 480, and the possible configurations are 2 ^ 480.
These Oculus are commanded by a computer system within the home in which the Oculus number is selected and the option of open or closed is chosen.
Of the multiple possible configurations, some are recommended, observing the sunlight according to the project implementation site and the efficiency and sustainability parameters of the EDGE certification.
On the roof some Oculus are special and these transform into units that are solar panels as shown in the graphics
Internally, Hexa is made up of white walls and the general furniture is also white.
The light that comes from outside is adjusted through the different Oculus settings.
